Finding Balance & Focus

Week 15 of 42

Last week, I set a clear goal:

  • Continue the calls to refine my offer

  • Build authority through content creation

  • Develop a strategy to attract high-quality leads

But here’s the truth—I didn't get as much done as I planned.

What Happened This Week

I’ve been focused more on handball and resting, trying to rebalance everything. I only managed to do 1 call (with 2 more scheduled for next week) and I’m still not fully happy with how I’m juggling being a pro athlete and building my business.

It feels like I’m stuck working on low-leverage tasks and constantly getting derailed by schedule changes and unexpected things popping up.

Where I’m Struggling

I restarted work with an old client on a paused project, which took more of my time than expected. This is exactly why I’ve closed the doors to new clients—I need to figure out how to delegate effectively so I can focus on what truly matters.

I’ve realized that while balancing handball and business was sustainable for a couple of months, it’s now falling apart. It feels like I’m operating at 30% of what I could be if I were fully focused.

The Plan Moving Forward

Despite the setbacks, my main goal remains:

  • Get 20 calls with potential clients to refine my messaging and offer.

  • Build a waiting list of 10 qualified leads to validate my proof of concept.

  • Delegate client work to free up time and focus on high-leverage activities.

Thanks for sticking with me on this journey. It’s not always smooth, but that’s what makes it real.

Until next week!
