Results from week 1:

Spolier, We got our first client

Welcome again to my story,

“A pro athlete using smart systems to build a $10k/m agency in 10 months”

After the 1st week is over, I can say we got our first client.

As I often say:

I got my client from my warm network (in every single business I have ever started).

But this time, it’s different.

This is not any client, this is an ex-Deloitte manager. He coached me, and now gave me the chance to prove myself.

Most people will say this is a win, when it isn’t.

Playing handball professionally, I learned the difference between wins & opportunities. Wins are when you don’t have to prove yourself anymore (in the short-term). Opportunities are doors that now open for you to prove yourself.

In the short term…

Wins are for you to celebrate.

Opportunities are for you to tackle.

Wins come with praise.

Opportunities come with responsibility.

So now is my responsibility to deliver to the ones betting for me, whereas that’s a coach, my teammates, or my first client.

You feel pressure now, right?

That’s because I told 1 perspective about the situation, but there are much more for you to balance it.

This is not the perspective you need.

This is one more to be aware of.

What you want is the to develop awareness of different perspective to choose the one that fits the best at every point in life.

Therefore, use this one for when you feel you need to put more effort into a project. When you feel, you are to relax. But ignore it when stakes are already high.

Perspectives are tools to find balance, not to use them always.
